Line training under supervision (LIFUS) on Cessna C525 Citation should be performed in accordance with ORO.FC.220 and AMC1 ORO.FC.220(e). Furthermore, GM1 ORO.FC.220(d) provides guidelines for operators to use when establishing their individual requirements.
Supervised Operating Experience (SOE) may be established in accordance with Part-FCL, FCL.720.A (g) through the operational suitability evaluation.
Pilots obtaining an initial type rating on a Cessna C525 Citation variant without previous experience on a turbo-jet, pressurised turbo-prop, or multi-engine turbo-prop aircraft must receive the number of hours of LIFUS / SOE as shown in the table of Appendix 4 to the EASA OSD FC of Cessna C525 Citation.
When completing initial type rating for the Cessna C525 Citation variant M2 or the Cessna C525 Citation CJ3+, a minimum of 10 route sectors of LIFUS / SOE / Familiarization Flights should be performed with instructor.
When completing differences training from any other Cessna C525 Citation variant to the Cessna C525 Citation M2 or to the Cessna C525 Citation CJ3+, a minimum of 2 route sectors of LIFUS / SOE / Familiarization Flights (one as PF and one as PNF) should be performed.
Where there is a change of operating conditions or route structure this should be taken into account and may need additional route sectors to cover these elements.
In case of freshly Cessna C525 Citation freshly typerated pilots, EASA requires mandatory line training under supervision when pilot recieved the Cessna Citation multi pilot operations as pilot-in-command typerating or Cessna Citation single-pilot operations typerating.
For pilots with no-previous jet experience, but total time of 1000hrs and more, the EASA OSB requires to attend min. 25hours of line training with line training instructor.
For pilots with no-previous jet experience, but total time of 500hrs and more, the EASA OSB requires to attend min. 50 hours of line training with line training instructor.
